No, this game is for the pure Gamers, the upper crust, the ones who go fast, smoke grass and eat ass.
RoR2 is a Dungeon run game, where you have to survive a hostile planet, where nearly everything wants to kill you.
The only way to survive is to become a well oiled machine of pure genocide, killing your way to the moon.
The game is based around stages, with you going through multiple areas, all expertly crafted. They can vary from Frozen Bases, to floating fields in the sky, to The Hell dimension of pure suffering.
You can pick from a myriad of Survivors, ranging from a magic welding astronaut, to a Slimy Plant robot. Each survivor has a vastly different Playstyle, from up-close melee with high movement and I-frames, to a Attack Speed based monster that fires devastating primary attacks from any range. Each Character is very polished, and i love to play nearly all of them. And each character has different unlockable Loadouts, to customize your playstyle and fill different roles.
The loot is randomized, which can be annoying some times, but it leads to fun and exciting gameplay when you get a god run with your own luck. Items stack to absurd levels. And factor in that you can find 3d printers, which give you a set item for a random one of your items of the same rarity, You can build your loadout off one incredible item, or, say, 50 attack speed items, to take them to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sprinkle town.
This gets even more crazy when you loop the teleporter, playing the other levels over and over again, until you can make the final boss into a stain on his arena.
