This is my very first post or review on any game ever on Steam so you know I mean business! I learned about Colonize because I follow Raptor on YouTube and I almost cried (okay...I did cry) when I seen this game on his channel. I have been playing sim style games almost 20 years now and trust me when I say, I have tried them all.

As a HUGE history buff with an unhealthy obsession with pre-American, early colonies and revolutionary america it has ALWAYS been my desire to play a game that captures that early settlement feeling. There have been a few that have tried or come close. The Anno series has gotten close but this one is blowing me out of the water (pun intended).

I'm So excited for the possibilities of this game. Yes there are a lot of bugs and the lack of saving is driving me batty but seriously, I see the potential here and I'm just giddy with excitement. I see many many many (FAR too many) hours of my life going into this game on full release.

So I hope someone in development sees this because....thank you and I can't wait! <3

Timberborn is way too much fun. I'm obsessed and can't stop playing. I really enjoy easy mode because it lets you really focus on city building which is very robust! Really well done Mechanisty! Very impressed.
