A very good game.

After 50h I just had to write a review.

This game is brilliant. The western-ish, post-apocalyptic setup is glorious.

Moving from the original DayZ-mod for Arma II OA to the alpha version of the DayZ standalone, which was the biggest pile of S**t, to H1Z1 and the "battle royale"-titles - I stumbled upon Hunt Showdown and I were blown away..

Being used to the marathon-runner zombies of DayZ and glitched hatchets you had to swing for decades before finaly killing that one zombie that has been following you around for the past 5 minutes, this game gave me a much more pleasant experience. You can, with ease, sneak past zombies and hellhounds, but at the same time always force you to keep an eye out for flocks of birds or shards of glas on the ground which will give your position away. All these small mechanics makes the game ever interesting and challanging. Once mastered you'll be the top-gun out of the 10 players on the map.

The fights are well balanced and after some hours played you learn how to adapt your playstyle and change the gunfight to your advantage.

If you think of buying the game, do it!
You will not regret it.

This is by far the best game I've played in a long while.
