This game is truly phenomenal despite still being in development. I've logged over 100 hours and will continue to play more as the mechanics are fleshed out more.
Highly worth picking up, even at full price.

Don't listen to the screeches of cancel-culture idiots. The marriage system is for having children in order to pass your bloodline down through the ages. Can't have children without a male and a female, it's basic biology. Not every book, game, movie, comic, etc. has to include rainbow-alphabet-soup

Cancel culture and those that perpetuate it need to just die off, no sane person cares about censoring other people

"Bundle of sticks"

Incredibly beautiful and satisfying combat, the gore and bodily reactions are great. Sound quality is fantastic. The gameplay is absolutely fanatastic... when you actually get to play. Multiple crashes per match. FPS leaks. Lied about number of maps, gamemodes, and weapons upon release. The only thing that kinda works is the microtransaction store which features barely any skins that are all roughly $20 for a set. The game ran better during beta, can't even say that this is of release quality yet.

Stay away from this dumpster fire for at least a few months. I don't regret pre-ordering it but it is certainly not what was promised nor can be considered 'full release'.

Dying is fun!

Can get lost for hours designing and polishing a creation. There are some things here and there but it's E-A, and the devs have made a lot of progress considering where it is now and where it used to be

I loved playing this gem as a kid. I was bad though, but I still enjoyed building creatures. I had little idea what any of the stats meant or how to properly strategize in order to win, but I still loved it. This game is streets ahead of any other RTS of it's time. It combines creating custom critters with a well written story that cuminates into a fantastic experience that still holds up to this day. I have put at least 100 hours into this game on my original CD copy and I bought it again because it's oh so worth it.

Is good, try it out. You won't even waste money trying.
