Octodad is a short, fun, endearing game about trying to be someone you're not, and finding out that in a way, that's who you really are.

The mechanics are what make it really unique. At this point I think we're all sorta used to playing any number of games where you just push a button and your character just flips out and does some bad*ss ninja sh*t all over everyone's face. This is basically the opposite of that, where each limb is lifted individually, and you struggle to approximate how a human moves so no one finds out your secret. The struggle to put one tentacle in front of the other helps build the anxiety over discovery, but at the same time, the game is rather forgiving, which may be a metaphor for life (i.e. people really aren't watching you as closely as you think, even when they see you).
