Great game up allll the way up until chapter 15, when you enter a mirror match against your own exact team, stats, weapons, and all, while they can somehow deal more dmg than you with the same character.

Didn't have a single death the entire game, until this chapter, then suddenly 7 or 8 characters die in literally like 5 turns. Which succeeded in doing nothing other than pissing me off, killing the momentum of the characters growth because they died once in a bullsheet chapter, and basically ruining the entire file. One character dies and loses a bit of stats? Not so bad. But when 7 or 8 of your dozen character team dies and loses stats, its a pretty deep cut. And seems a bit harsh for quote unquote "easy" difficulty.

The game intentionally leads you into making your characters as strong (like any rpg) as possible so they have don't die and lose stat values, to then turn around effectively force you to die on multiple characters, especially if you've stacked your lineup a certain way. And by the way, even on easy difficulty there's literally nothing you can do about it but watch as you get rammed in the arse by the developers on probably the worst level design in ANY turn-based tactics game I've ever played.

Before chapter 15 I'd been attempting to convince 3 of my friends to buy this game, since we all play similar games and it was all great until ch 15. But now, I can't say I'd recommend this game even to my worst enemy. Since both, recommending it to them, and them playing it, would be nothing but a net loss for everyone. I think it'd prefer just playing with sticks in the mud. Or having glass shard cereal. Or giving birth to twins while simultaneously passing kidney stones.
