Space marine 1 was better. The horde gameplay gets stale quickly. That's on top of how demanding the game is to run midly satisfying if you dont have a NASA rig. Orcs are more fun that tyranids.

Still needs work. I dislike the gore of the game. Huge artillery strike just amounts to some blood on the ground. Feels cartoonish. Doesn't portray the horrors and the impact that the devastation of the second world war could have on a casual infantryman. Haven't touched this game in months. I'd rather play coh 2 with amazing mods if i needed the fix.

Haven't played the previous men of war games or gates of hell. I think people should stop comparing things to what they have played and to what they want and start enjoying things the way they are. The amount of content for this price is unbelievable. I hope the devs don't abandon this game and the development runs its course as there is a few clunky things they can sort out. Other than that, thumbs up, it's been a while I have been so hooked playing a game. Amazing job and thank you for making it affordable as well <3
(Edit: if you are a new player don't be shy to ask on the community hub for help with controls - took me a while to figure out how to loot crates - google is also your friend.)

The saviour of modern day action games. It's perfect. Had no hope/expectations and felt like all modern day titles were boring af/dead. Behold the golden days as you remember it. Fluid controls. Good story. Good customization options. There's not a single thing I can complain about and I keep coming back for more.

clunky unit management that turns into a frustrating experience. Definitely has potential if the devs doesn't abandon it.

Incredible atmosphere. If the devs don't abandon this game it could become a stalwart entry into modern day rts games.
