3k hour player here with multiple rank 1 seasons as killer/survivor. Sad to say the recent changes are so far removed from reality that it screams to me that the developers are not playing their own game or have reliable enough beta testing. It has been a downhill trend- refer to Apr 5 Dev update and 6.7.0 apr 18 update, steam stats will also confirm steady loss of around 10k peak player numbers from Feb - May 2023. While I can kind of see what the changes are aimed at, the combinations seem senseless, (e.g. healing perk and medkit nerfs, little to no map changes during an overhaul update, mass killer perk/addon buffs, flashlight nerfs) as it mostly punishes new players and low MMR. I encourage the developers to revisit small maps like haddonfield and the 15 other seeds smaller than it currently and make them larger across the board to remedy generator regression perk buffs & mass nerfs for survivor across the board. In my current games as killer & survivor almost instantly the new survivor is punished/tunneled as there a far too many different mechanics that benefit killer and on top of it have to play a healing simulator. The buffs to a lot of weak killer addons like pig and freddy were good. I think removing the flashlight mechanics for some killers for the sake of consistency (without considering lightborn I might add) was pretty lazy and detrimental, as one thing most new players will have access to for defense is at least a basic flashlight. On live Nemesis still retains flashlight mechanics on zombies. Again, my main issue is that the combination of changes (too many at once honestly, which is typically unpopular) are mostly punishing newer/casual survivors. If risk taking perks and items weren't nerfed way too much and in combination new survivors could most certainly benefit from veteran players in a team game as they learn. This is important for retaining those players in a game with a steep learning curve.

Good game but a suggestion to add immediately: Hold space to DELETE profile on main menu instead of tap space, fix and recommended
