I have beaten this game 3 times on PS4 and bought it again on PC. Its a very fun game. Sadly the developers have decided to do a female protagonist for the sequel rather than continue Jins story like most people wanted. I dont play story games as females, because Im a male and I cant get invested in pretending to be a woman for 80 hours. I understand why females like to have female representation in games, because they like to see characters that they can relate to or see themselves or even a party of themselves represented on screen. Thats great, but as a male, Im I also like to do that, but as a male. Yes, I understand that most games in the past have had male protagonists. Thats true, because most gamers are males. Obviously some women play games, but the ration has got to be 100 to 1, if not 1000 to 1. Thats just the reality. Women do play games, but they dont in the quanity or the frequency as men do. I actually dont know a single woman in my real life who plays games. All the guys I know, all the dads, all the sons, brothers etc, all play games to a varying extent. but I dont know a single mother who plays games. my sister doesnt play games, my daughters dont play games, my aunts and female cousins dont play games. Yet Sucker Punch has chosen to pull a bait and switch on us and focus on appealing to women and that is unfortunate. Im a whale. Im the one who buys DLC, Expansions, stuff for my kids...hell I'll even buy cosmetic stuff and loot boxes. I buy games that I know I'll never play just to support a developer who I think deserves it, but I will never be buying another game from Sucker Punch after this bait and switch. Learn from Ubisoft. Learn From Space Marines 2. Learn from Black Myth Wukong. Space Marines and Black Myth are honestly just above average games. They arent amazing. I could give you 10 things for each that would have been easy to implement that could have vastly improved the game, but the reason people bought them and played them was because they catered towards their core audience, without the need to try to appeal to a small minority of people to boost their ESG score and get some social media credit. Im sad that we wont be getting a real sequel, but like I said, Ive bought games that I never thought Id play, so there are plenty of games that can take the place of the next Ghosts game.

I LOVE THIS GAME, BUT THE SERVERS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE IN THE CURRENT STATE OF THE GAME. I GET DISCONNECTED EVERY OTHER GAME IN CO-OP. IM GIVING IT A NEGATIVE REVIEW ONLY IN HOPES SOMEONE WILL SEE THIS AND FIX THE CONNECTIVITY ISSUES.

My new favorite thing is to read old Reddit posts of people who were 100% absolutely certain that, not just that this game wouldnt be good and the graphics were all preredered, but they were certain that it was a scam and would never even come out. Hilarious. Never trust Reddit.

This game is so much fun. Im just about to beat it and I cant wait for New Game plus to play it again and again. The combat system is so much fun and the upgrades and skills are awesome. You never get a new piece of armor or a weapon, or a skill, that you wont use. If it buffs something you dont normally use, you can respec your character for free and play around the new weapon/armor/skill and it always feels satisfying. Love this game. Gonna read Journey to the West now. Incredible job by the team that made this. I hope theres more to come. DLC, sequel, whatever. Take my money. Theres so many secrets and bosses. So satisfying to play a feature complete game and its incredible what theyve done. I do feel sorry for the people playing on PS5 though because I imagine that its a demanding game to run, but who buys consoles anymore. Join the master race.

Edit: I have now beat it 3 times and unlocked everything, so this is the first time Ive seen my desktop since I originally wrote this review. Im going to check to make sure my pets are still alive and that my wife didnt leave me. If they did I guess I'll beat it one more time before looking for a new wife. Great game.

I cant explain it. I play Call of Duty and Street Fighter. I dont even know why this game is so addictive, but it is. I was gonna get this for my daughter, but forget her. Its mine now. Once you get thehang of it, you'll wonder how you kept losing to the bandit raiders in the first spring when it only takes once mercenary company to beat them. its fun and will only continue to get better.

Nearly 1000 hours playing the game. Never really been into this style of game until BG3. Its amazing. Such a complete game. I had 1 crash in all this time while Cod MW2 crashes once per play session. The game is so good that I used the crash report to thank them and compliment them for a job well done. There has been major updates and improvements very soon after release, and I hope the do some additional DLC content, but for the first time in a long time, its not because the game is lacking content, but rather I just cant get enough of what this team has created. Love it.

Hi-Fi Rush is $29.99. Buy that instead.

This game is alright when it works. Sadly you will get disconnected in the middle of a game and lose all your equipment. This happens every other game and makes the most popular game modes completely unplayable. Its almost impressive how unstable this game is. No online trouble shooting methods work. You just have to deal with it. I wouldve recommended this game in the first few weeks, believing that theres no way they wouldnt fix this issue that many people have the same problems, but nope, no fix. Its unplayable. This will be the last Call of Duty game I ever buy.

Edit: keeps getting worse

Edit: I just edited all 10 of my custom gun slots while trying to do camo challenges for SMGs and pistols. I made 10 custom tuned classes which took about 30-40 minutes. Profile disconnected, whatever no big deal, I wasnt actually playing, sign back in, all custom classes back to what they were before I created them. How does that even happen? Each one is created and edited separately.This game finds new ways to wast your time every day.

I have a lot of hours on this game. probably not actually what it says I do because I leave the game on when I stop and its just running and on most of the day, but I do play it a lot, but I would never recommend it. At this point its just a sunk cost fallacy thats keeping me playing and as soon as I move past that, I will never look back. Im hoping that happens after I finish the camo grind. This is literally one of the most frustrating games I have ever played. I feel like I have become a Zen master from just dealing with this game trying my patience. Please dont buy this game. Just play Warzone and DMZ for free, but do not give them money for skins or blueprints. They really do not deserve it.

Not worth the money

This game reminds me of why I hated DOOM when I was a kid. Because I was a ♥♥♥♥♥. Thankfully I am no longer a ♥♥♥♥♥. So this game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. Don't be like I was when I was kid. Crank up the difficulty. This is DOOM!

WOW! Just dowloaded $200 of free DLC for any other game, but instead it was for one of the most amazing games I've ever played, and it was FREE. Maybe I have the Season Pass. I don't know. I must, It was all free. Amazing. I will buy the next game they make blindly after supposrt and quality like this. Can I swear in this? Everytime I said something good like Amazing. Its that with Ducking in front of it! ducking auto correct.

Yeah buy this.

It's awesome but damn I've never died so much, but thats what makes it so reat when you finally get revenge. Assassin's Creed, Batman, Farcry, together in Mordor. Awesome!
