This game is so good that I shilled it on my Discord for over a year, made it into a meme, and convinced people to play it. Give us TX 2 already Falcom.

Regalia: Of Men and Monarchs is a pretty fun and chill game. I love that the story isn't about saving the world and that it is more grounded. People have complained about the writing but I think it's on point. It's funny, campy, and breaks the fourth wall sometimes. The art is fantastic for being hand-drawn. Combat is pretty unforgiving at some points but varies. I really enjoy the text based adventures. I will say that past the beginning of the game, it gets grindy for my personal taste. If there's one thing I would ask for, it would be for more events/cutscenes to break up the grinding but thats mostly it.

Regalia certainly takes nods from Final Fantasy Tactics and Ogre Tactics but puts a more light-hearted twist on it.

I'd say buy it or wait for the next steam sale.
There's certainly fun to be found here and a nostalgia itch to be scratched.

It's okay. I hated the combat.

I went in a building looking for guns but came out with plungers and desk fans: the Game.

This game seethes with metal references and its bloody great. Did not expect a 3rd person open world to have a RTS component.

I discovered I wasn't dead inside after playing this game cuz i felt the feels throughout the game.

Play the originals

But seriously...
Good Co-op game if you have a friend to play it with. Good corny resident evil writing/dialogue. Controls were awkward at first but I got used to them.
