A nice occasionally-chill/occasionally-terrifying game about fishing and eldritch horrors

I and my friends have really liked this game and played it since beta, but nowadays the developers seem to be more and more alien with the community, at least in my part of the world. The game gets less and less gameplay updates and more and more skins that you need to pay for IRL. The season rewards are lackluster for the ones that do not want to pay extra for season passes, and the game overall is riddled with cheaters and hackers, and the newly implemented "reputation system" is not doing much and is hard to understand. The game i and my friends once enjoyed immensely seems to go more towards a free-to-play FPS with microtransaction skins.

But to be fair to the devs, i have gotten over 1000 hours out of this game. The raw formula that make the game work and be great is still there. It is just that the developers/publisher don't seem to know/care about the players.
