Looking at a trailer, the game may appear simplistic however the depth allowed for you to take is gargantuan, and daunting. The true rimworld experience is taking on this challenge with no do-overs. You will have many colonies fail and die, each with different stories to go along with your struggle towards creating a space ship to escape the rimworld you have crash landed on.

Starting with meager tools to accomplish these survival methods in any way possible - from running a human cannibal colony, being a drug lord, or managing a harmless homestead of cattle, anyone that has ever loaded a new colony in rimworld can almost guarantee their story is unique in some way.

Mods to this game allow for infinite replay-ability and not to mention the devs themselves show passions for this beautiful game they have created and are worth supporting.
