This has quickly become one of my favorite games I played in the past year and a worthy RPG for fans of the genre. The retro pixel animation is colorful and beautiful and brings to life a well designed world and a variety of characters. The story is wonderful and the game play engaging, and with a depth that begs for multiple play through attempts to fully appreciate. I've only had one opportunity to try out the local coop but can see this being a great couch game with friends. Most of my time was spent playing solo on the Steam Deck and it is a perfect game for that situation. I would recommend this game to all RPG fans, whether you like the classics or newer games with big open worth mechanics. I look forward to the DLC and will be keeping an eye on this game studio for any future products.

This was a beautiful and intriguing game with a lovable main character and a world that was well crafted and deep in lore. I played it once through and will be replaying this again to get the achievements and the missed lore which gives a clue on how good it was. I hope they bring out a sequel as this character deserves to have more opportunities to shine.

A worthy successor to the Left4Dead series with some entertaining levels and game mechanics. I like the ability to pick your favorite characters and their unique abilities and customize them without microtransactions. Some level designs are outstanding, and the enemy types will keep you on your toes. It can be enjoyed with friends or playing solo, but at heart its a coop game and should be played that way. Some of the later updates improved the game with new levels but others added more complexity that can be ignored if you prefer. Ultimately it gives you choice on each play through to keep things interesting. Well worth playing if you enjoyed Left4Dead back in the day.

I was interested for a while, but eventually found it very repetitive and difficult to get past the point where acquiring new ingredients or resources becomes a huge time sink. I even left it running in the background for two days and was disappointed in what I was able to obtain. The final piece was when I combined three rare ingredients together and ended up with the same burger combination as when I combined three uncommon ingredients TWICE before. If the idle portion ran while you were offline, I'd consider it an improvement but unless you want to have an autoclicker or leave it running constantly, this wasn't enough to keep my interest.

An enjoyable and engaging puzzle game with a mystery behind every level pulling each piece together in the story. The difficulty was not too challenging and most levels took a reasonable amount of time which left me wanting to go back for one more. Most importantly this got me interested in playing the next game Atlas that they have coming out so it's a great prologue. I got this one for free and I'm definitely ready to pay for the next one based on how much I enjoyed this game. I can also confirm this is Steam Deck Playable, though the resolution makes reading a few text items a bit difficult I didn't have any real issues as long as I used the touch screen. Well worth your time if you want a great puzzle game to be at in about 3 hours.

Straightforward fun - I enjoyed this game and its puzzle aspect which reminded me of Portal, just without the storyline. You can't beat a free game and I found it an entertaining way to spend and hour or two.

A charming puzzle platform game with beautiful graphics and fun game play. This is a short game (first run through only six hours) but a great distraction and kept me coming back to complete it. I appreciated its emphasis on the puzzles and exploration with no combat mechanics included at all. The characters grabbed me but I did feel that the end was a bit too ambiguous and didn't resonate as emotionally as I expected. Overall this is an enjoyable game and well worth picking up for a shorter option.

This is one of the most amusing and well crafted game worlds I've played in and the variety of the outcomes kept me coming back again and again to build on what I had learned. With the option to create a legacy and use what you had learned of the world from before or start fresh it keeps things interesting every time you play. Some aspects still elude me and the expansion deserves more of my attention but this has been one of my favorite games in recent years and got me interested in the follow up Sunless Skies. I think this game reached a height hard to follow and is an excellent challenge with an offbeat and well written world for anyone looking for a great text based adventure with exploration.

An engaging and well designed game that keeps bringing you back in with its detailed world building and clever plot. What starts as a deceptively simple exploration game continues to reveal more as you start uncovering clues from the past and peel back the layers. The time loop mechanic adds a level of complexity to the problem solving that is refreshing and different. I found myself going back again and again for another attempt as I uncovered a new clue that could only be solved at certain times during the loop. While the puzzles aren't easy, they are also not impossible and a little time or further exploration usually revealed the solution (though a few brute force attempts were successful by pure luck). This quickly became THE game I was playing for the past few weeks until I completed it. You can solve this on your own and feel rewarded but this could easily be a fun game to approach with a group. Well worth the time and money and one that I'll go back and replay from the beginning to explore again and appreciate for the fantastic game it is.

An addictive and infinitely replayable game that hits the right balance of challenging and mastery. The various races and ships available to unlock along with the randomly generated batch of events and maps makes this a game you'll keep reaching back to again and again for ONE more try to get through. Easy to pick up and put down when you have only a little time to play or the full hour or two needed to make a successful run. Its simplicity to access and underlying complexity and world make this one of the better rougelike games I've played since Sunless Seas. Worth the pick up at any price but especially on sale. Now if only they'd port it to Android so I could play on my phone...
