I bought this at launch and it has gone through so many revisions, it's essentially a completely different game. From multiple different FTL methods to just one, to an ever increasing cascade of dlc (which is normal for Paradox, but getting annoying), to completely altering play-styles (Void-born is basically worthless now), and yada yada yada.

The only way I encourage people to buy this game is to wait until they release "Stellaris 2"; by then they should know what the final product will actually be.

This game was fun at launch, (in early access) and somehow this game in its current state is near unplayable. This game is absolutely crawling with bugs, from staff getting stuck in an endless mosh pit in the staffroom, to having to move medical beds and stoves so that they can function at all. Every single issue has apparently been a problem for years and there doesn't seem to be any fixes in sight.
TLDR: The game was somehow more functional when it was Early Access.

You raised my hopes, and quickly dashed them. Looks and feels like a "meh" flash game. Sounded really good like a educational game with a bit of charm, but dried up as I played. it's a bad button masher, half the time the game doesn't register mashing. Gets horribly dull after the second plant...music okay.

Wonderful game, pity that it's a flawed but you can get the fan patches. Beyond the glitches, it has a wonderful story, note worthy characters. Buy the crap out of this game.
