While it's a decent visual novel with horror elements. Some bits really get muddled in some areas. The bits that each of the characters uncover, they don't go much into depth with. In fact one key element that Rebecca finds isn't even brought up with any of the other characters. I feel like this is a lost opportunity. I understand that the choices are mostly based on relationships, ect, BUT there could've been a great investigative aspect with this as well. I was hoping due to it's length, it would've explained stuff about what exactly went on the mansion instead of just unlocking memory fragments and you just piece them together yourself. It should've been where the group was trying to find out what happened in the house. Just didn't seem as in depth as i wanted with the story of the actual mansion instead it was more about the characters. having it an even split between the 2 would've made this more enjoyable.
With that said, I do enjoy the characters that were in this and i do enjoy the length with some of the choices you get. voice acting is really decent, and some of deaths are quite jarring and gory to see. Enjoyed it for what it was worth. Hopefully if another horror visual novel is made more depth is created for the backstory of whatever is going on and not just the characters. give it a solid 7/10

great game to play with friends. might be a bit maddening at times but least you all can rage together lol
