Unfortunately after 338 hours the game has stopped working and fatshark was unable to resolve the issue.
Never had a game do this before in all my years of gaming and its very disappointing they couldn't help.
they asked me to contact the anti cheat company as thats where they think the problem is, they didnt respond at which point fatshark customer service offered me a refund, basically i cant play this game ever again and have had to have it refunded again despite buying a new copy. After trying three times the anti cheat people helped me, we went through options but nothing worked. Eventually they said this shouldn't be possible and gave up.

i cant tell you how unhappy and angry this made me and after 2 years or more of not being able to play suddenly tonight after a random attempt it's working again.

So the issue was entirely on their end with an update breaking my game and an update finally fixing it.

The game itself is good, easily one of my favourites and coming back to it after so long with all the DLC and updates makes it almost a new game, one I'm looking forward to getting back into.
