Man, I usually don't write reviews- but after finishing the last match in this free weekend thing, I can't help but feel tricked.

So I think a couple of others have already noted this issue- but the way the progression works in a game like this, just doesn't feel fair. And that's the core of the problem I have with this game. Fairness.

No matter how many scavengers I was able to down with my INCREDIBLY slowly reloading, and underpowered weaponry- the scavengers sported a suite of tools and weaponry, that just nullified my efforts. It got to a point so ridiculous, that they just ended up circling me, waiting to be killed- and then instantly get revived by their friend, just to waste my time. And as they were reviving eachother, my character was just standing there like an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥- reloading his peashooters and letting them run off... Why the ♥♥♥♥ isn't there a simple melee attack for the hunters?? It desn't even have to be incredibly powerful, just something to let you bash their skulls in, rather than having to look stupid and reload your guns for ages in front of them.

It's infuriating to feel that no matter what you're doing in that situation, you've got no other solution in front of you, but loosing. How is that fair?

I think there is still potential and fun to be had with this one, but it feels incredibly frustrating to have your hard killed prey to just instantly get up in front of you after you've finally managed to get them downed.

Giving this a strong pass for now, until something changes regarding all this.

A really well made, competent "old-school" shooter with a lot of great suprises and intense moments.

It's like a mix between dishonored, duke nukem, bioshock and of course the old Wolfenstein games (which is a pretty damn awesome mix).

It's pretty amazing how "manual" they made the game. Even tho it's mostly just small details (like manually jumping out of a helicopter), it really gives a good sense of deep interaction (hueh).

If only more FPS games were designed like this these days :l
