Thor is the red-haired and bearded god of thunder. He is the son of ODIN the one eyed chief god and the giantess Jörd.
Thor owns a short-handled hammer, Mjolnir, which, when thrown at a target, returns magically to the owner. His Mjolnir also has the power to throw lightning bolts. To wield Mjolnir, Thor wears the belt Megingjord, which boosts the wearer's strength and a pair of special iron gloves, Járngreipr, to lift the hammer. Mjolnir is also his main weapon when fighting giants.
Thor travels in a chariot drawn by the goats Tanngrisnir and Tanngnjóstr and with his servant and messenger Þjálfi and with Þjálfi's sister Röskva. The skaldic poem Haustlöng relates that the earth was scorched and the mountains cracked as Thor traveled in his wagon. Thor was to meet his death to Ragnarök the hands of Jörmungandr, the MIDGARD serpent. The two mortal enemies were locked in combat and though Thor did defeat the great serpent, he was only able to take nine steps before falling dead from the venom.
The story does not end here ..... After Thor's death, peace was restored in the God realm .....But Mjöllnir the warhammer was lonely .... with no more battles to fight , its sole purpose was gone.When the lesser gods asked LOKI to open a gate and jump to the World wide web to spawn hordes of insurgents during the battle of ALMADEN , where the heroic LT300 faced his doom .... Mjöllnir was awoken by the heat of battle ! Mjöllnir hurled itself through the open gate to bind itself to LT300.You can imagine that a few grenades could not close the hellgate for what the books do not tell is that LT300 , in his final charge found himself yielding Mjöllnirwith his bare hands in an excess of rage and fury.He flattened the gates of hell with a mighty blow but payed the price with his life.For no one can yield Mjöllnir without Járngreipr, thor's magical gauntlets. Its fiery handel scorched him and the hammer absorbed his soul. This act of great sacrifice brought life back into the warhammer once more. Odin felt this burst of energy and was delighted.
He asked Heimdall the guardian ot the underworld passage to bring Thor back to life and send him to reunite with Mjöllnir. Peace was in the realm of gods but the WWW raged with battlecries. Especially since insurgency was released on STEAM. Hordes of noobs and grunts walk the wasteland and order needs to be restored. Besides, Thor is a mere god between gods, but with his warhammer he is invincible. And Mjöllnir is useless without Thor for no one can hold if fiery grip.
so if you ever see them together on a server ..... run you fool , for the forces you are facing are not of this world and the rage of the thunder god and his mighty mountain flattening power is upon you !
..... rumors are heard here and there , that Odin himself is somewhere in disguise on the Steam network and some say he taked the form of a swedish one eyed peaseant called gorano .... but that's only rumors ....
