This game has HUGE potential!

Truly amazing game.

Funnily enough, not only is it an extremely accurate and realistic simulation of the operational side of the eastern front, it's also really fun as a relatively simple game, once you get the hang of how the basics work and learn not to be intimidated by the extremely deep hole of complexity that opens up upon you when you first start up the game.

While you can absolutely go full blown grognard and control every minute detail, you don't absolutely have to. The game has a lot of automated systems in place that you can use instead of nerding out. Don't be afraid to lower the difficulty a bit while you're learning and the automated systems will do an extremely good job at keeping everything under the hood working fine. Simply put, while the game is extremely complex and utterly intimidating in pure scope and size, it simply never breaks down if you don't quite grasp how some aspects of the game works and lets you enjoy the game immensely while you're learning by doing. In my book, this is an incredible achievement for a simulation like this, especially when many far less complex or realistic games fail horribly in that regard.

Another huge plus is that the DLC's, to my knowledge, are simply scenario packs that are completely optional. This makes the relatively high price of the base game much more reasonable because they don't lock any gameplay features behind paywalls (looking at you there, Paradox). A truly amazing game.

Nice quality, good package, all cables included, recognised by cheapo wireless KB&M set immediately on startup and the entire setup process took 5 minutes and went buttery smooth. Great product if you pick it up on a firesale.

This game is absolutely brilliant.

First and foremost, the AI is probably the best I've ever seen in this kind of game and the AI is what makes this game absolutely unique. The art-style is nice, the terrain map looks good and is very easy to read. Controls are very intuitive and the battles are an absolute blast. Especially considering that this game is still in alpha, I can't praise this enough. Great job to the developers!
