Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, is perhaps the best game in the series to date. Perhaps due in part to the fact that it dispenses with the majority of the forced story elements and poorly shoehorned precursor crap and gets on with telling a story about things happening in Greece that generally involved people being stabbed in various ways.

9/10 - would rate higher if the DLC wasn't such a travesty.
