Once again, GZ Storm and Lazrool release a funny little free game that could totally cost a buck or two and I wouldn't complain. The game is short but the writing is funny, the battle mechanics are fun (if sometimes total baloney bullsh!t) and the strategy on the world map is fun albeit restrictive. I, for one, would adore a Dingletopia 2 that expanded on everything. I would pay up to approx. 10 dollars for such a game.

The open world aspects and tough moral dilemmas that Fear Protocol: Shadow Paradigm offers makes this the superior game in the Fear Protocol twinology of games.

Avast tells me that this isn't a virus and that's very good.

There's really no other game like it. The world building and lore is creative, believable and weird. It's a fully living world, told through rows and rows of text. Some of the writing seem to be influenced by modern trends and are a bit bothersome, but most of it is great. The artwork is gorgeous, all the way through.

The gameplay itself is fun if you enjoy management games and reading - you'll be hammered with decisions and it's not always clear what's the right path forward. Sometimes you'll be faced with a dilemma and it seems like there's only one viable option out of half a dozen decisions, which can be frustrating and occasionally devastating for your playthrough. Trial and error, as well as guesswork, will be required at times. Even so, it's fun all the way through to the end.

I boot up CORN. Computer fans go haywire, command prompt show up for half a second. Fourteeen new programs named "CORNMINER.exe" show up in my Task Manager. Crypto advertisements flood my inbox. Strange images of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ shoving corn up their ♥♥♥♥♥ flood my desktop. But the game itself works great.

Judgement: CORN SCAM? Nope, it's actually legit.
