I wouldn't say it's as good as DOOM (2016), but it's pretty fun.
The combat is a bit more about strategically using your weapons and acting accordingly rather than just shooting the bad guys. If that's your thing, then it's really fun. If it's not (like me) then it can get really repetitive and stressful at times.
However, the secret hunting is an absolute BLAST! Lots of cool hidden stuff and easter eggs to find.
The progression system is a bit over-complicated (even more so that 2016), but it's alright once you get into the rhythm of things.
Overall, a great game!

But seriously though, ♥♥♥♥ the Marauders. Please remove.
