It was june 6 1944. The rain was coming down heavily on the allied troops whose feet were worn to the bone in exhaustion. The heavy waves would crash at the boat and cause even the most adventurous of soldiers to fear the unforgivingness of the sea. The sound of gunfire would only grow more prominant as the ships claimed the distance to the shore. As the sandy beaches reached the eyes of the soldiers they became red with their brothers fluids. The germans were safe from the ever advancing troops from the safety of their towers, only laying waste to anyone who dared to draw closer. The invasion was not without sacrifice but would lay the precedent for the last duration of the war. The germans were on their last leg and the slow and crippled army would only fall in the last few days of the war.

And so then I ask of you to not answer my question, I simply desire for you to hear my words. If there is an evil that cannot be destroyed by justice then what is the proper thing to do? Will you resort to using one form of evil to destroy a greater evil? Or will you stubbornly abide by the laws of justice and allow that evil to draw you into submission? Either way the only thing that will remain is evil. This is the nature of the world that we have created. And these are the questions that are rarely asked by oneself.
