Desperately in need of an offline mode, the cheater excuse is ♥♥♥♥, as pd2 thrived even with them, and the idiots who say "it's 2023, don't you have a stable connection?" not only do not understand how servers work but are also so selfish and idiotic that no wonder the industry is ♥♥♥♥ with consumers like this.

The premise of the game is awesome, i've been dying for a tactical shooter on vr with destruction in it, but without the stupid "powers" or classes found on for example, Rainbow Six Siege. The game itself is pretty dry at the moment but the team pushes good updates, if i could suggest anything i would love it to have:
*Normal doors, so that i don't have to destroy absolutely everything.
*More stealth options would be nice, which goes on correlation with the point above.
*Please, Please add a local coop like Fast and Low with a person playing desktop and the other on vr, with this change i would play it nonstop.

The other suggestions are more basic stuff like longer maps and new weapons, maybe more objectives, but the team already works on those so i don't have to really mention it. Overall it's got great potential, and if they implement my suggestions it would definitely be one of my favourite VR games of all out there.

It would be more like a neutral rather than a positive review, but man, this game was part of my childhood.

Surprisingly, the game runs really good on modern sistems. Being a Piranha Bytes production you already know how this game is, basically a reskin of Gothic 2 with some changed features and some story thrown in.
The story itself isn't really bad, but it's acceptable at best, the factions are all similar and even though the Bandits are taken as the "good guys", they are all the same amount of evil, the only difference is that the main antagonist is a part of the Order.

Gameplay is dated but for some reason it has a charm, although half the time im tearing my hair fighting, i enjoy it, magic is really good, and there is a nice variety on weapons, so if you don't like your weapon right now, there will be better ones later.

The map is really good, not gigantic, but the atmosphere is so good that it seems larger than it actually is, and there is a satisfying fast travel system tied to magic and exploration.

Overall, if you enjoyed past Piranha Byte's games like gothic, you'll get a kick out of this one. It has a lot to uncover and the atmosphere is great, plus, the voice acting is as stupid and funny as ever.
