Doesn't work on Windows 11. Crashes on startup with ERROR OUT OF TABLE RANGE.

EDIT: I managed to get it work. Guide below.

1. Disable DEP exploit protection for tra.exe in Windows settings. Turns out the engine relies on this behavior by design.
2. Move game to a directory with a short path without non-ASCII characters, e.g. D:\SteamLibrary

Leaving a negative review because game as a service should work out of the box.

Revised: Issues seem resolved, changing review to positive as promised.

Plagued by bugs and constant server issues. Friends are sometimes unable to join lobbies, server sometimes disconnects everyone in the middle of the game, there are weird performance issues on modern hardware, etc.

Otherwise great game and completely worth if if you're getting it for the offline singleplayer.

Will change review to positive if these issues are ever resolved.

Early Access-recension
It's both frustrating and captivating at the same time - I love it.

That being said, there's a lot of room for improvement, especially in UI design, which is somewhat counter-intuitive at the time of this review. Balance issues are to be expected since it's early access.

It shows potential.

A bit rough around the edges and has a steep learning curve, but it's pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

You can safely ignore the manchildren screaming about DRM - the game is very well optimized and runs fine on my 3 year old laptop hardware while still looking beautiful.

In-game world is huge, there's a lot of variety, infiltrating fortresses and combat is really fun. Side-quests are fun, but not as memorable as in Witcher 3, for example. Main story is pretty good too, and I like the way they addressed the villains - they're not one-dimensional goons, but rather everyone has an interesting reason they're doing evil crap.

I never cared much for AC series, but I'm having lots of fun with this one. Great game.
