Just looking at my Steam library...maybe I should play some of these old games I didn't want.


c.1996-2003?: Unnamed hand-me-down DOS computer. (I never really used this to its potential; I would have liked to poke around it some more. Last seen being dropped off at a consignment sale parking lot.)
1999-2006: Unnamed white Dell 98SE workhorse. (Gone but not forgotten. It's amazing what could be done 15 years ago with a generic desktop and a 5GB hard drive.)
2005-2010: Unnamed black Dell XP flaming pile of crap, not worth the semiconductors it was built from.
2006-2010, 2014-present: Unnamed silver Dell laptop Windows XP, rechristened "graybox" after Linux resurrection. (Hey, remember when laptops used to be square?)
2008-2011: Unnamed black Toshiba laptop Vista. (As it turns out, laptops are remarkably resilient when it comes to spilling things on them...sorry L.)
2008-2014, 2014-present: Unnamed brown Dell laptop XP, rechristened "brownbox" post Linux resurrection.
2010-2014: "Spaceheater" (First custom build: good when it worked, terrible when it didn't.)
2012-present: "Scapegoat" blue Acer laptop (Drifting along in retirement...)
2014-present: "Bigfoot"
2019-present: "Praxis"
