Is it the greatest monster hunter game? Well, thats debatable due to the vast difference in content from the other main line series.

Is it the best playing monster hunter? Hell yes it is.

Monster hunter world may not have the 100 or so monsters the previous main line monster hunter has but people have to understand, they have been reusing the same models since the psp/ps2 time with little improvment on hit boxes/gathering/wep movement.

Monster hunter world finally takes a huge step in the right direction (even if you say its more casual) to where movement feels so much more in the players control and making gathering items/harevting not a pain in the ass as previous titles. The addition on how monsters look and act now with turf wars is also all new to the series. No re used assets speaks to why theres not as many monsters.

The only down side to World to me is the unique desigins of weapons has been lost, many looking damn near similar to eachother, Im talking about you hunting horn.

The Armour skills in this game can be a little overwhelming also as min/maxing is alot more common with every piece of armour now having a set skill rather than the full set.

All I can say after 300 hours hours is, when the hell is G rank/World 2 coming out? I crave.

A love letter(almost a copy) of the great beat em genre and art style vanillaware has achieved throughout the years. The best way to describe this this game is a mix of dragons crown, muramasa the demon blade and odins sphere all in one.

Great hand drawn art, great music and challenge. Worst gameplay aspect is the grind for leveling up, but the amount of area you will be exploring will make the exp grind not too bad (this was from me playing on hard

Probabaly the worst thing of this game is the secretive way on getting the true end. (seriously, just look up a guide for it)

For the price of this game, even when its not on sale, its a huge bargin (on sale its only 1.99!)

If you enjoyed the first game, then youll enjoy more of the same, just as the name suggests. Not much difference from the first one but hey dont fix a rock formula when it doesnt need changing

Quite literally GOTY 2017, if not one of the most memorable games I have played in quite some time.

Nier:Automata sets you in a depressing world where you feel deep grievance through every quest and story as you progress, all the while getting cheap shotted through 4th wall breaking humor along the way.

With a story and world set by Yoko Toro and gameplay from Platinum game studios, the blend mixes best together creating a enjoyable experience on a plot and gameplay front.

Just like the first Nier ( which is highly suggested to play first), you’ll be required to beat the game mutiple times, with different interactions and story related events unfolding the more you progress through the world with different sets of characters.

The Soundtrack is also one of the best collections Ive heard from a videogame, never wanted to skip a track and always happy to hear that familiar sound when I reach an area.

I really cant express how much I loved this game, even with the few flaws it has. Defintalty an experience you should enjoy also.

A real spiritual successor to Devil may cry, with a whole lot of love put into it.

Quite literally one of the best beatem up combo systems ever derived with immense selection of weapons and attacks to really express how well this game plays.

The game does suffer from quite a bit of annoying instant kills during QTE cut scenes.

If you are a perfectionist in games, be prepared tyo rage at all the stone awards youll be getting (What a day)

A slow cover based shooter while also being super fast? Yep its a platinum game.

Vanquish takes you on a wild knee scraping ride of high octane arcade levels that involve not only shooting and punching but also smoking!

The game is really cenetred around how you want to play, you can stick to cover and slowly widdle your enemies down or charge in through sheer speed and hit them before they can react.

Even though its a little on the short side, one of Platinums best games that DESERVES a new one soon.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great...... for about the first 30 hours.

Then you slowly realize how horribly grindy this game becomes, with not much variety to spark as you go through the same mazes 100+ tmes just to get better gear/upgrade your facilites (which in turn could get screwed anyways due to RNG events that have no right to be how hard they are)

also RNG in this game is just horrible it isnt funny. Stats on your characters are almost usless as none of them transist into the game. So expect one of your best chaaracter to get crited 3 times in a row and die withtout you being able to do anything.

Bosses are one of the few things in this game that spices it up, HOWEVER it turns into just fighting the same boss 3 times in different difficulties, almost no variety or changes.

However the art/voices/atmopshere in this game is literally 10/10. Redhook just needs to laern that unfair hard does not equal fun. You have throw your players a bone otherwise boredom sets in when youre doing the same thing over...and over, all the while getting ♥♥♥♥♥♥ when you shouldnt deserved to be for doing semi ok.
