A must have for fans of Half-Life

Some devs never learn. Once again pc port with horrible fov and no way to change it.

If you have the no dialogue sound and no subtitles bug (like a lot of people have), here is how I fixed it:
First download another language pack:
In steam right click Shadow of the Tomb Raider and choose Properties. In Language tab select another language, i used randomly Polski (Polish).
After Steam has downloaded the language pack for the game start the game.
In game go to Options -> Audio and languages -> Change Voice-Over language to Polski (or whatever you downloaded). Accept it and go to the previous menu. After that go back to Audio and languages and change it back to English and change text language to english too. After this dialogue and subtitles should work but you need to change the language everytime you launch the game. This is how I fixed my no dialogue/subtitles bug.

Better than S08E06

With RTX 2080 game run only 50fps no matter the graphic settings low or extreme or vsync on or off. After a bit of googling I found out that turning your xbox 360 controller on and pressing a button on it the fps goes up. And yes it did to mighty 60fps. No kidding, it helped! After that I started googling how to unlock 60fps cap so I could enjoy my 144hz display. There were multiple ways and one worked on my rig. This tweak also triggered a massive stutter issue but I was able to resolve it. This troubleshooting took almost 1 hour, but at least the game runs fine with nice 120-144fps.

And does this game have fov slider? No it dosen't. You have to make a cfg file or use console commands.

So... Do I recommend this game? No I don't because all of the tweaks you need to do and hope they work on your rig.

Might update the review when playing more but I doubt the game will be good enough to justify all the tweaks you need to do.

A LOT of crashes to desktop and stuttering issues. According to forums I'm NOT the only one experiencing these gamebreaking issues and none of the official or unofficial fixes work on my rig.

I cannot recommend this game as there's a big probability you cannot even play the game. I will change this review IF both problems get a OFFICIAL patch or fix.

Game has the smallest fov I have ever seen and playing this game gives me motion sickness. There's no fov-slider and no custom fov-fix either so do not buy and don't support devs that don't understand anything about pc gaming. So glad I got this piece of . for free and didn't pay for this

While waiting for HL3, which comes anyday now, I recommend you visit city 17 one more time with this mod as it tunes the graphics/effects up a little bit and as a bonus you can earn the same HL2 achviements again.
