While this game used to be really good during its early days, its really decayed a lot, especially ever since its last golden age in 2020. If you're a new player, here's some advice: only the beginning of the game is fun, as you're not fighting against robots that are super overpowered (yet). Once you start getting to upper mid tier is when things start to slip out of your hands, and from there it just all goes downhill. Although I still love this game, I wouldn't encourage any new player to pick it up, as this game is way out of its prime. Once you get to top tier, it's all rage and no fun, as you'll often be getting killed by robots instantly while hardly leaving a scratch on them. I would encourage no more people to play this game anymore, as these are basically its last days before it truly becomes unplayable.

The best game I've ever played. The graphics still hold up well after all these years and the plot is amazing. And it's also interesting how it takes place in what feels like a completely new world compared to the original Half-Life. Probably my favorite part of the entire game are Highway-17 and Sand traps because of the atmosphere and setting. The only real part that I can barely say is bad is the combat which still isn't really all that bad in my opinion. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes playing any FPS game for its game play and also spot in history>
