solid recommend purely on being able to pet animals.

Be realistic with your expectations on graphical fidelity. Even on a 3070 @ 1440p Ray Tracing is just not possible. This is a next gen experience so don't expect current gen hardware to run smoothly. Graphical performance improves as the game ages so that's not effecting my recommendation.

The core game experience is fantastic. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys hitman, watch dogs, DnD, deus ex, or any in-depth 1st-person RPG

reminds me of the good ol' days

This Doom feels much more challenging than Doom 2016. I've raged at least 10 times now, but I knew it's cause I sucked. I kept at it and started kicking ass. Demons can take way more of a punch now before they go down.

The main point I wanna get across is this game is fun. VERY hectic arena shooting. You HAVE to keep moving/dashing/double-jumping or you will get slaughtered. It's really rewarding to keep at it when you die. They help with tons of ways to get health/armor and the extra lives you can collect along the way. It's all about balancing that arena dance.

Yes there's cutscenes and tons of tutorials. Can you also skip them and disable tutorials? Yes.

Btw I do recommend the membership if you play often. Accessing all DLC's and the bank size was my attraction

It's all fun and games until 9 out of your 10 melee attacks are parried by every single enemy in the game

I have no interest for anything in this DLC, but I still got it to support KSH. If you can afford it, you should too
