I wrote that in 2019, it is now 2024. These past 5 years have been worth the whole journey to get to them even if I were to die right now.

However, like many trans people, when I started to slow down and actually pay attention to my own issues I came to realize I had been taught to suppress pain and discomfort to be less of a problem to those around me. I have been diagnosed with an illness that should have been caught when I was much younger, and is greatly impacting my life and will continue to even in the best of cases for years to come.

If I had been listened to in full, it would have been caught and treated. Instead it was dismissed along with me being trans, so I suffer for it and will suffer for it for years.

Listen to your body. Take care of yourself. Listen to trans youth.

I don't want to forget you, my first friend, on Steam, you've helped me build my confidence to interact with others online and you've always been a cool person whenever we were on the same server. We may not interact with each other as much as we used to but I do appreciate the fun times we had killing Hale or you killing me. :D
