I wish the multiplayer worked better. Articulated trucks go bananas and sometimes players cant join when a job is active.

Irregardless of performance. This game is deeply flawed and is merely just a creative city builder early access release by Paradox.

Give it 1-2 years and buy it on sale and when the modders fix all the problems. I'm an idiot and pre-ordered this steamer and I wish I didn't.

Recent updates to the game have improved overall experiences but I still feel like an "Early Access Test Dummy"

Things I like:
- Road Tools and Intersections
- Road lines continue through intersections
- Building scale feels more realistic.
- American trucks!
- Parking Simulation
- Abandoning the traditional "RCI" demand is a huge plus.
- Power lines can go underground
- Low / High voltage wiring and capacities.
- Roads are transport networks for water, sewer and electricity too.
- Selling extra water and electricity off map.
- "Poop Dams" Still work <3
- Outside Road Connections
- All the QoL stuff that was added to the default client.

Things I don't like:
- Map does not feel bigger...
- Missing Medium Density Commercial or Office?
- Traffic noticeably stupid and bunching up on the same inefficient path though down.
- Traffic does U Turns on the highways
- Traffic turns left across highways when entering via on-ramps (The "no left-turn" tool will not prevent this)
- Left turn right-of-way is non-existent for traffic resulting in cars turning in front of other cars when the light turns green...
- Water simulation sucks, Water will visually glitch through your dam or appear to be rapids...
- Highly repetitive buildings... (only one building model for like kind building spaces with just some slight color variations)
- Citizens do not seem to be simulated as advertised. Everything feels ♥♥♥♥♥. (This one is getting better.)
- Import/Exports are broken.
- Garbage dumps and incinerators will import garbage until they are full. (Seems Fixed?)
- Incinerators do not pull garbage from dumps. (Seems Fixed?)
- You can delete a dump and the garbage goes "poof" (Might move this to things i like)
- No services for small towns. Starting out is very easy to go bankrupt if you don't ignore the chirpier.
- Shops are always "Not enough customers!" Customers do not leave their houses and visit shops... (Fixed)
- No mod support on release and no steam Workshop plans. I'm not looking forward to whatever Paradox comes up with.
- The in game radio/music is very boring. Same commercials, same announcer saying the same thing. Music will even repeat itself back to back.
- The weather (snow) looks terrible... Leaves on the trees in winter? Cars drive with snow covering the windows?


I'll add to this list later, and I'll likely keep playing Skylines 2. I want to like this game more and review it positively but I was hyped up by pre-release videos and details about the game that don't seem true and I'm very disappointed in this release.

I would NOT recommend buying Skylines 2 in it's current state. This game is incomplete and feels like an early access release with marketing filled with lies.

Hey it actually works now. :V

I rather enjoyed this game and although it has taken most of its inspiration from "Sim Tower". It adds enough unique mechanics to provide an entertaining and returnable experience.

Its rather shallow and boring and reminds me a lot of the game "Capitalism" with some lame transport elements added and economics stripped. This game seems more suited for a tablet and a $4.99 "App Store" price tag. This game is far too expensive at full price.

There wasn't much to enjoy after a couple hours of setting up some factories and production trees. Unless you like tedious optimization and making a bigger number. I would probably have enjoyed this game in 2004 though!
