I was reluctant to buy, due to the promotion videos that made this game look like an action shooter and the not so great memories of the original Prey.

This game for me is the closest a true System Shock successor should look like. Loved every minute of it.

This is actually an Assassin's Creed game which is fun and together with Black Flag the best in the series.
Graphical wise this game challenges the attention of detail the Witcher 3 had. The crafted world is stunning. For the first time for me exploring was fun, as everything felt handcrafted and with a purpose.
The gameplay mechanics are also good.

But still, besides the beautiful world, this game leaves me disappointed thinking what could've been done with the solid ground work.
It's not that any part I will list now is bad, but music, story and characters are only ok or good.
With an amazing story and story characters you could relate to this game could rival the Witcher 3. But in it's actual state all that remains is a very good open world game.

Only having played the first two areas of the game I just called it a day. This game feels like Shadow of Mordor in a way that it is Shadow of Mordor. Everything is the same, even the graphics feel like 2014. At this point it feels more like a big DLC or expansion to the first game.
It's not a bad game, it's ok, but I got bored real quickly.

On the positive side you have much more variety in the environment, but that's about it.

Overall would buy again from the bargain bin.

This is a Walking Dead game, so naturally it has zombies in it, I get that, it sets the setting. Over the years zombies became boring and for me whenever zombies showed up the creativity of the game went downhill, as with zombies they inherently lack creativity themselves, especially with the not so many things they can do.

Then you get the usual TWD ingredients. The s*itshow, mayhem and murder that starts everywhere you show up and you think the only winning move is not to play. Everyone would be better off if they just shot themselves at the beginning of the game.

They covered up the random side kicks deaths through the episodes better this time, making them less predictable, by throwing really great WTF, some WTH but also just plain lazy moments at you. They even carry some doomed people through multiple episodes while killing of scores of people just because you acted on your best intentions.

The overall story itself is okay. It's definitely not great, has pacing issues as sometimes interesting stuff gets cut short or feels unbelievable, but it's not bad either.

With all that said I do like this game very much. It's a game about betrayal, trust, love and family which always keeps you wonder. It has, for the most part, believable characters, acting and includes multiple endings, taking into account a lot of decisions of your journey throughout the game.
Playable flashbacks let you meet old friends, have consequences in the present and clear up what happened in the past.
Overall, besides all the criticism, I had a great time with this game, though I still wish for an alternative dystopian setting.

This game offers quite a bit of content.

Two characters with different abilities that can be customized to support your play style.
Play however you like, stealthy, aggressive or a mixture of it.
Multiple ways to approach or maybe avoid situations.
Bethesda struck a nice balance between the action and storytelling
Overall high production value. I like the voice acting, animations, lore delivered by letters, books and audio and attention to detail.
(New game+ plus multiple difficulty levels with an additional ingame option to make the game even harder)

Considering the complaints, most of them deal with technical issues.
I have yet to encounter any issues and the game runs more than fine for me.
If unsure whether to buy, 2 hours to check out whether this games is working or refund is always an option.

Amazing horror game. Recommend. Better consult my physician before playing this in VR, though I know I will not play it in VR as it was almost too scary for me already.

I love FTL and always thought how great this game must be with a campaign, character development, stories, quests, planet exploration, ground combat, star bases, research, development...

Little did I know how few I know about developing games until I played Halcyon 6.

Halcyon 6 features all of the above, more or less, except FTL ship play, but all the parts are a mixed bag. Most of them start out great but only few play out good, often mediocre, some bad and then repeat themself over and over with only minor variations. Putting all the set pieces together and still have a fun game must have be very challenging, maybe impossible with an indy budget?
The pacing is way off for most parts of the game.

A multitude of core features do not make a good, let alone fun game.

This game isn't bad, you always want to know what is coming next. It has a lot of potential, it was fun at times so have an upvote.

Can't think of any better RPG. Best storytelling, graphics, price for content, developer and so on...
The only negatives I can think of are the controlls.

Released over a year ago this game was the epitome of a bad and broken console port.
As of August 2016 I do not experience any problems whatsoever.

Great visuals, engaging story, AAA quality combined with a lot of things to do at a bargain price (19,99€ @bundlestars or 22€ @gamesplanet for the premium edition)

Technically broken at this point as it looks for Windows 10 AU users.
You cannot progress past the intro if you don't disable cloud sync, delete certain files and do some unintuitive startup.
Did work once, didn't work another time, don't know if it will work a third time as I made a refund request.
I was really looking forward to play this game but spending my time and money on "fixing" it, no way.
