4k hours on this and i hate it

for positives, its pretty satisfying when you get those line of codes just right without any issues about it. but thats pretty much it

for negatives, its a horrible way of creating games, there are so many better engines to use like game maker, unity, unreal, godot, hell even scratch/turbowarp MIGHT be better than this.

there are so many issues found within it. the prices are WAY too high for this, i have to pay 300 just to buy an upgrade that not only has very little extensions to have, but also a useless thing for people making fangames, which could be, lets say, 50% or higher. i should NOT have to pay this much for a developer upgrade and i SHOULDNT need to pay as much as clickteam itself to get a simple exporter.

i swore i have experienced bugs on this engine and couldnt find a way to fix them, i had to come up with my own solutions. clickteam doesnt support 8 bit depth graphics, so i had to find an alternative website for converting it 32 depth graphics, i didnt need to do that. i had fonts that were super blurry, tried looking it up, found a couple posts with no clear answer to me, so i had to find out that there is an option for windows that makes these fonts NOT BLURRY.

i have still yet to find a fix for the choose extension bug, where i literally have only ONE INI extension in the whole mfa, yet it tells me to 'choose an extension to keep', and even if i do choose one, it still appears. the contents are also not helpful, this engine could be best described as "experimentation", not learning, EXPERIMENTING. the contents will NOT help you, you learn it or you dont.

this engine needs a lot of improvements or atleast drop fusion 3 PLEASE.

The first thing when I think of Mr. White is definitely not this game, but it is a fun game to play casually, I'll get to why I say casually in a bit.The house design is interesting, every corner could lead to your death or at least a jump scare with very few dead ends and alternate routes.Mr. Red is a neat addition with him being the red key, he's pretty interesting but not as interesting as the main antagonist.The difficulties are good for the most part, Practice and Easy are good for beginners, Normal is good when you have completed the game a few times, Hard is a more experienced difficulty with it's difficult fun, and Impossible is a nightmare to complete, few people have beaten it and for good reason.And now onto Mr. White himself, his AI is kinda iffy, he has functional routes and way points, but he can see you, and even kill you, through walls. You can hide in a closet and get out almost instantly to make him forget you even exist until he sees you once more. He looks creepy and goofy and his voice line, while only being one, is scary when you don't expect it.Practice to Hard are pretty good difficulties, Mr. White is pretty balanced with plenty of closets and beds in most rooms and escaping him is not as bad, at least in difficulties lower than Impossible.Mr. White and Mr. Red are already faster than you in Hard and it's still pretty hard, but give it a very dark fog and NO HIDING PLACES and then top that off with Mr. White seeing you and killing you through walls and Impossible feels absolutely ruthless and unfair, no wonder 4-5 people have beaten this, nobody is wanting to go through this. You can't lose Mr. White either, so once he sees you in Impossible, he is constantly locked on to you. No item RNG is able to save it unfortunately, maybe if Mr. White COULDN'T see and kill you through walls, maybe I would actually try again and beat it.TL;DR: Pretty balanced game up until Impossible with its super fast speed, no hiding spots and Mr. White's wall hacks. Recommended, but please do not try to beat Impossible until a fix happens.

This is a nice game to come back after failing at Into The Abyss so many times. It's nice to have a 100% completion, kinda sad there wasn't a reward. Or maybe there is and I didn't check.

Anyways...

Pros and Cons:
Pros:
* Really fun even after playing the game multiple times.
* Understandable tips on how to survive and defend.
* Achievements are not too hard.
* Story is neat.
* Genesis is nostalgic.
* A secret level I enjoy.

Cons:
* Not too much playtime.
* Slenderman slides.
* Easy to exploit the Fearless achievement.
* Genesis is basically a Slender: The Eight Pages remake.

Overall, 8/10. Worth beating the game.

This game has turned a game of my happiness to a game of my agony.

My thoughts on the design and art style is cool and unique but it isn't original.

My thoughts on the gameplay is, somewhat, terrible. First of all, random crits, that's a thing that exists for some ungodly reason.

Matchmaking sucks because it never puts me in matches with higher ranks that I already am.

It's impossible to get rid of bots when the overrun a server.

Here's a few suggestions
- Remove random crits (or make casual servers have no random crits and community server setting can enable it.)
- Remove Linux support or disallow names that are commonly used by bots (first option may or may not be better than the second option.)
- Make matchmaking put you in matches with people that are on the same or similar levels of the player.

Yes, I know community servers exist to remove random crits, get away from bots, but some community servers may have maps with a lot of objects, so much to lag the game and it doesn't help with unbalanced matchmaking.
