Early Access Review
I love this game! This is a great roguelike/extraction shooter with charming South Park-like art style.

In its current early access state, the full world hasn't been released and there is a lot of polishing and additional content planned. This will be a great title if the developers nail the landing. Even greater if they manage to add multiplayer in the future.

Check this game out. It's a fun time.

Performance is not very stable and art direction is lacking. Any souls game is much better, but if you've already dried yourself out on Fromsoft titles, this could be a fun side game to play if you can pick it up for cheap in the future.

Gotihic is a very jank RPG that I played to completion and love. The game has an immersive world with great characters, and awful english voice acting that makes me love the characters even more.

Full of jank and a product ahead of its time. Worth a try for any die-hard rpg fans, but not worth the hastle to get into for anyone who doesn't want to deal with the occasional crash or broken save.

Early Access Review
After putting a good chunk of time into the game so far, I am VERY confident recommending this game to anyone who is a fan of DnD and/or the Divinity series from Larian.

This feels a lot like playing Divinity: Original Sin, but fully built around DnD 5e, which gives a lot of flexibility in how you approach challenges. Progression, story, player agency, music, graphics, and gameplay are all fantastic.

There are glaring technical issues in the initial early access build. especially in Multiplayer, so I would only recommend this to current fans of the series who are willing to put up with crashes, disconnects, and softlocks to have a great experience. Larian has addressed this and are working hard on hotfixes and optimizations. Once everything is ironed out at full release, I can confidently recommend this experience to anyone.

I would not recommend this port of the game. There are conflicts with windows, so for a lot of users it requires disabling devices in device manager from keeping the game from crashing.

Even after I got it to work, the game is not stable and is liable to crash every 30 minutes to 1 hour.

No development support in sight, so I would not spend $10 on this.

If you get it on sale for $3-5 and love the old game and are willing to jump through hurdles to get this working, then go ahead and pick it up.

It is the best way to experience the game when it is working properly and has extra cinematics and improved audio that adds some extra value over the N64 version

Fell Seal is an absolutely fantastic re-imagining of Final Fantasy Tactics.

The battle system, story content, end game content, class system, gameplay, etc. All of it is recreated from the original Final Fantasy Tactics with modern features that allow it to be its own game.

In my 40 hours of gameplay I was able to clear all of the game content and was left wishing for more. Thankfully, with adjustable difficulty settings including permadeath mechanics, I know I will be back to play more of Fell Seal.

If you were a fan of Final Fantasy Tactics, I would HIGHLY recommend picking up this game. If you've never played Final Fantasy Tactics, I would recommend getting your hands on that game first to experience a masterpiece of a game that you haven't experienced yet. Then if you are looking for more, Fell Seal will be a good buy for you.

I am very pleased with the developers for creating this game. They are active and communicate well with the community. Definitely a team worth supporting and I'm looking forward to what they put out next.

The main con of this game is the story. While it isn't bad, the delivery isn't great, characters have flat and predictable roles. The story itself is cliche and predictable and made it hard for me to invest myself in the characters and story. Thankfully the gorgeous hand-painted levels drew me in to the world, but I wish the story delivery was better and had a more mature theme (Seriously. It is rare a character dies in this game. Even after you brutally stab them)

Overall, I'm glad this game exists. Thank you 6 eyes studio! 8.75/10
