this remake is great. it is similar but different. you feel like you are playing the same game for the first time again, and it feels very faithful to the original. graphics are great, enemies look really good, atmosphere is intense and feels exactly like silent hill in the original second game, combat is great and improved upon over the original which was clunky af but still great, i dont see any down sides.

a lot of people complaining about stuttering....im not having that issue, game is silky smooth af maxed out. i made sure to max each setting, even set image scaling to 200% still smooth af.

i don't get all the good reviews... i mean it is ok at best, but it's not that great. only reason i got this is because i was told it was similar to "earthbound" and in some ways it is, but this feels like a repetitive puzzle game with slight combat elements added in.

PROS:
combat system is unique
some of the puzzles were decent
no bugs

CONS:
everywhere you go looks the same/repetitive atmosphere and visuals

great games, enhanced and added multiplayer with many different multiplier modes

geylo, the masterqueef. tbh this is just call of dooty in space.... not really that great. hard to understand what people find interesting about it. repetative, uninteresting gameplay.

walk into a room, kill some guys, walk into another room, kill some guys, walk into another room, kill some guys, this is basically the entire game. some areas you cant leave until you kill all the guys in that area....

crash, after crash, after crash, after crash. main menu? CRASH. would you like to start tutorial? CRASH. just booted game? CRASH. hey look? CRASH. CRASH CRASH CRASH. haven't even been able to play.

great CRASH simulator. highly recommend against. 10/10, don't buy. skip tf outta this.

the game is interesting.

PROS:
survival horror elements are there.
puzzles to progress or get certain items needed.
scavenging for ammo, supplies, and key items.
monsters and enemies look great.
weapons are cool.
great actors.
graphics are good.
story is interesting enough.

CONS:
combat feels lacking. certain enemies just run up to you super fast and all you can do is fire while moving backwards.

the game is far better than the demo/prologue that ended up just being a walking simulator....the combat isn't a deal breaker. high 7/10

nope. game works but only run at 640 resolution and you can't change it....the option to change it is there but it reverts back instantly. broken mess...avoid.

crashes. crashes so much you wont even get to play. main menu....crash, game loading....crash....crash....crash....crash some more. avoid at all cost.....crash.

0 out of 10. complete utter crashing garbage.

turtle rock studio.... stay away at all costs, just remember what they did to the game "evolve" with the day one paid dlc on a game with barely any features, and to get "supposedly everything" was like $120, but then more dlc came out that wasn't included, then more, then even more. yeah let this studio rot and close down. go play a real game from a real dev company that treats their buyers right.

i only recommend if you can catch this on a 99.999999% off deal or free...even then i really still recommend against it tbh xD

short....GARBAGE.
long. objectives are very unclear, zombie animations are cheap and not that good, weapons are ok at best, level design is lazy and uninteresting, the card system is lame and too much to learn tbh, this game sucks and so does turd rock studio.

TURD ROCK STUDIO.

the evil within 3 would have been much better, but this game is ok. there are tons of skills to use, lots of different enemies to kill, the environment is great, currency to collect and earn to buy things. the story seems interesting and the characters are likable. upgrade abilities, etc.

cons:
1) way too many side missions and quests (i'm not kidding) and if you don't do them all you're missing lots of bits of the full game story
2) ending was disappointing
3) certain side missions lock you in the side mission til you complete them, and figuring out where to go and what to do in those isn't very obvious
4) still a few bugs and glitches. i got stuck in a couple walls here and there. a couple of times the game would not close at all.

NOW MAKE THE EVIL WITHIN 3! i'd play a second ghostwire: tokyo game too, but want tew3 way more
