Overwatch is dying.

I've played this game since 2016. I usually jump on and play about 2 hours every other day. It's my comfort game, but I'm done.

The devs refuse to fix issues with matchmaking bugs that have plagued the game for weeks (quickplay games do not even start with 5 v 5 players and never fill up, then you get punished for leaving). The monetization is gross, I would have preferred lootboxes to this. The balance is ♥♥♥♥♥♥, support heroes are outright stronger than damage heroes.

It's over. I'm at my limit. I'm uninstalling.

This game plays very similar to XCOM in good and bad ways. Overall it is very fun, and the bravado system can lead to some hilarious sequences with a shotgun where one character dances around and clears an entire room. However, it also has the XCOM problem of enemies off-screen reacting to you getting close right before their turn, and a couple times enemies have spawned off-camera and attacked me on the same turn (and killed someone). It's a bit disheartening when that happens.

Hilariously broken spaghetti, but the core gameplay is great.

Probably great when it came out, miserable disaster now. I thank Social Club for wasting a good 20 minutes of my day to leave me with no option to play my single player game. Just happy to clear the hard drive space.

A masterfully crafted game that doesn't give a flying ♥♥♥♥ about making sense or being deep. It knows what it wants to be and it hits the mark perfectly.

The graphics are respectable, and the fact that this is a port to PC doesn't detract from that. This is how games should be ported, other companies; take notes. The control scheme does not suffer from the port either, although the controls of the game itself can be a little sloppy at times (why is the parry button the same as the attack button? Really bad design choice, but forgivable.)

The game wastes no time telling you EXACTLY what to expect; Within the first 10 minutes, you grab a giant robot by the arm, toss it into the air, jump up after it (????????!?) and then slice it into as many peices as you can press the button to make, all while the soundtrack is scripted to start yelling RULES OF NATURE! as you grab the giant robot by the arm. They make a point of setting an awesome tone. Hell, even the title for the game is in all-caps.

It's an unapologetic flashy fighting game in which you cut things into many tiny pieces. You can literally stand around chopping things to bits with perfect accuracy using the game's Blade Mode. It's great, and if you're just looking for some FUN, this is the game for you.

Such a well-made game. It's charming, pretty, and surprisingly fun to play for a single player FPS. The duelling mechanic makes something incredibly simple as staring at someone and shooting at them after a few seconds incredibly complex and challenging, but not so complicated that it stops being fun. It's a very intense moment and it's very entertaining in that regard.

The skill system leaves something to be desired as the perks are pretty easy to choose (there's one that lets you get free headshots after like 5-10 kills, come on), but considering the length of the game I wasn't expecting much form it anyway. It does it's job.

The little things like the narration changing the scenery and the gameplay as it happens is a very nice touch, it makes the game feel very unique and immersing. I've never been a big fan of old Western stories but I found myself caring a lot about Greaves' story.

As for weapons, you don't get a lot to choose from, but that's okay. They all handle very nicely and fill the niches they are made for very well. They even let you got akimbo-revolvers. You can't go wrong with that.

A very big YES to this game. More, please.

This isn't even the same game anymore, please ignore the Metacritic score and give it a shot. Sure, it's far from perfect, but it's hella fun.

This game is so rad. That's pretty much all there is to say. One of the most fun games to play if you have a 4-man team.
