Haven't played the sequel so I can't compare JC1 to JC2.

It's a pretty fun game, one I would definitely recommend to kill some time, but there could be some improvements. For starters, the missions get pretty repetitive which doesn't keep me playing for very long. The American character voices seem....off. Not like lips moving before audio plays, but you can tell when you hear them.
Overall, pretty decent. Buy it when it goes on sale though.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth is an excellent remake to the original BOI. The new items, the new bosses, the new rooms, and the new characters really add a new level of gameplay that was not offered in the original (still love the original though!).

First and foremost, I really love how smoothly the game runs! My old PC which struggles to play the BOI can play Rebirth flawlessly. In regards to the transition from smooth characters to 16-bit characters, I'd say it was a well done transition. The characters and every other graphic element of the game still look amazing! If there's one thing that I really like in Rebirth compared to the BOI, it's how Tech 2 and Brimstone are able to interact with more items that affect the tears, mainly spoon bender. It was difficult to not say the word smooth often in the review since that's what I think of when playing. Every action is so fluid!

Finally, the added feature that really made this game surpass the original was the addition of save files and the ability to save and continue your game.

10/10, worth every penny. Thank you Edmund, Nicalis, and others for such an awesome remake.

If you've played the first Portal game of the series, I absolutely recommend getting Portal 2. Not only do you have many more levels and co-op mode, you also have a pretty good story to go along with the game with more twists than an M. Night Shyamalan movie!
