Ha, the novelty of replying years after the last reply, which was also years after the previous reply, is just too good to let go.

KotOR is a defining game to me; I judge other games based on its standard. The story is gripping, full of meaningful choice, and told through a familiar fictional setting with a clever twist (set 3000 years before the movies). The gameplay has a few issues, and it's at times painfully clear that KotOR is a direct console port, but this remains one of my all-time favorites.

Kotor is amazing for a single player game. The controls are just wonky.
