Fun game if you aren't taking it serious. It scratches the "kill lots of mobs, level up, and get better gear" itch without being too in-depth. Endless brainless grinding for $10? I'll take it.

Babies are crying because they can't play on their 10240x5760 theater screen (even though they have clearly shown that UW support is coming) or their budget PC from 7 years ago isn't working.

Game is hella good so far. No crashes. Had to solve some minor skill issues while playing on Veteran.

Be sure to change your DLSS from Native to Quality/Balanced/Performance. Native was ruining my FPS.

98% of negative reviews are git gud/skill issues. Dash spammers are crying because they can't roll their face on the keyboard anymore. Some of my favorite gems:

"It takes ages to take down a simple grunt enemy."

"Lots of emphasis on run-and-hide, strike-from-afar gameplay that stands as the direct antithesis of the hit-and-run gameplay that made Hades 1 so maddeningly engaging, never mind addictive" actual skill issue lmao, none of this is true

"Hammers feel bad because of doubling the amount of attacks you have (Omegas and basics) mean that you ARE going to be devoting yourself to one or the other." hammer is still the best door..

"spoiler lady just one shots everything, but you must grind and chip away at all the mobs" actual skill issue.. never lost to her

Game is amazing

> Drop a guy 30m away from me
> Guy 10m away says, "you got any water?"

I didn't even know he was there. Game runs and looks great though.

I'm only recommending this because it's $7. It's a decent time-killing roguelike, but it really dries out later.

I'm just going to say it - this is a Dark Souls of board games, and most negative reviews are caused by players getting absolutely owned by this *difficult* game.

1. The game is easy to learn, difficult to master. You will lose a lot, but you will also learn a lot. Pay attention to why you lost. Overran by minions? You probably should have bought more spells. Bought plenty of spells but could never cast them? You probably need to open more breaches. Don't just buy gems thinking you can focus on farming a ton of money. You will fall behind.

2. If you are randomizing cards, realize that every run is different. You can't always get away with the same playstyle, and you really need to plan out your future turns. You can always see what your next turns will be as your cards are always in order.

3. "Clunky UI and user experience" - extreme disagree. It's very simple and easy to navigate. Right click to read what something does.

4. "Hard to figure out what's happening/you need to know every single interaction". Another extreme disagree. You can read the cards that were played and see exactly what happened. Both 3 & 4 are from one of the most "helpful" reviews.

5. The New Age DLC is very well worth it, even outside of sales. The Expedition mode gives a ton of extra replayability and is extremely enjoyable. Not required to have fun though.

6. Solo players rejoice! This game is not only fun with friends, but it's fantastic for solo.

7. No built in multiplayer, but remote play works great and is very simple to setup (make sure you click your friends keyboard & mouse icons so they have control)

This game is addictive and I highly recommend checking it out.
