Beat it on Xbox 360 *once* and have been wanting to give it another go for years.

Its been an incredible time with the Wildcard modpack. Almost feels like a a triple A remaster, for free 😄

nice pick up and play, fun progression. With a ps5 controller you get awesome haptic trigger feedback.

It feels like a modernized ps2 mech action game and I keep thinking I have to return it to a video game rental store. Sheeeeewww. This game is like seeing a stacked goth/alternate chick you havent seen in years and she is Down bad for YOU

This game is a true combat-less RPG and an insanely enjoyable story telling experience. You play in the shoes of a weathered out, amnesia stricken detective, piecing together the atmosphere and context of the world around him while he comes out of his hangover, filling the himself and YOU in with whats going on at the same time.

This game checks alot of boxes for me that usually am not able to hold attention to.
Some great ones off the top of my head so far.

Narration.

The game features a narrator who assists with immersion by reading aloud contextual dialogue and often as well, the main characters internal monologue, (I.e. The boy stared at the tree with despondence, not knowing what next to say to you...).

The artwork depicting the various skills you have;

that determine the success of your chosen dialogue responses, are watercolor paintings that even someone who never thought they could be a shred interested in the dynamics of art, will possibly find themselves admiring the depth of the watercolor paintings. I seriously want to frame one, human emotions such as "Conceptualization" and "Authority", I could go on but im tired and don't know how to conclude, the artwork kicks ass in this game.

Top-down classic RPG style gameplay, no weapons full-on immersion

Think fallout new vegas level of decision-making importance. Its refreshing to play a game like this, you can chill out, take your time with it, drink some coffee, go at your own pace, and LAUGH a whole lot at how relatable the main character is.

Side note:

This game will make the writer/reader in you happy, if you ever grew up feeling a slight bit interested in writing or appreciative of the power of literature, this game might have the ability to reinvigorate that feeling

I think I like Sekiro better than Elden Ring honestly. But thats a strong-winded opinion I have, I haven't beat Elden Ring yet.

Hot diggity damn is this a game. I remember when I first played it when it released. Got to the first Genichiro fight and lost my save. But in the beginning I could not figure the gameplay out, I died over and over, and over. I approached it like a traditional souls game. That's where this game really makes it mark. It KNOWS you are most likely a returning Dark Souls player, and boy is it ready to slam your face into the ground and make you forget everything you thought you knew and laugh as it builds you back up into a Parrying ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Demon.

The swordplay in this game, is probably the best I have ever felt/played in my entire life. The game is absolutely brilliant and it is not a surprise that it won Game of the Year when it came out.

One Optional boss fight in particular at the late game, is the only one I had to look up a guide for. I highly do not recommend looking up any guides, because the satisfaction that comes with learning a bosses patterns that was originally whipping your dumb ass all over the planet, is bar above none.

This game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rocks. I will one day 100% it, but after that 1st playthrough, I need a break.

Its a really fun shooter, not the masterpiece people preach it up to be and swear on their lives by............ but it's a really fun time.

I played like the first expansion, and now I would probably have to watch a youtube tutorial to even learn where to begin with this game and thats AFTER paying for the privilege to play the up to date content.

So what's ends up happening when I do play, once every two years, I install, really awe over the graphics, do basic dungeons, rinse, repeat, get bored. Uninstall because it's too big on storage space.

TL;DR, not great for returning players, but a decent MMO Looter Shooter

This game is all-around just great. It's kind of goofy at times, though in a respectable way. if you haven't tried this I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Idk man its not doing it for me. The Animations seem repetitive and the characters are a little cringe. I can't get into this one and ive tried at least a handful of times. To each their own but I just gotta warn you may not enjoy this title like me.

To prefacae I loved Neir Automata, and MGSR:R though can't be swayed to play this longer than 1 hr at a time.

This game is like black coffee, bitter and disgusting at first but then you start to get a taste for it.


Definitely a cult classic. Not for everyone. Vanilla is graphically dated, and you WILL run into bugs.
Though, I like to play this when I want to experience Escape From Tarkov atmosphere w/o playing Escape from Tarkov because sometimes I like to be nice to myself and not feel sad.
