This game is fantastic and does what it aims to very well.

1. Unique artwork and style
2. The mix of 2D and 3D gaming inside and outside of the book
3. Classic collectables
4. Throw backs to retro games in the mini game events

It is fun, funny, and well worth your time if you love this style of game.

6-10 hours of gameplay, and it is not difficult. The game will hold your hand the entire time, so also perfect for those with kids who want to play but may not get all the references.

As an adult, it is the perfect game to just switch off for a bit and enjoy the whimsical theme and story.

Early Access Review
A lot of fun!

I don't normally play this style of game for long, this is an excellent entry for this genre. 10-20 hours of fun for you without much confusion if you have a try at a few builds like myself. Or I assume hundreds of hours if you fall in love with it and dive right in.

If the dev's are on the ball and keep evolving and growing past launch I can only see it getting better.

Art style, soundtrack and overall theme are excellent.

Grab it, crack a beer (or beverage of choice) and have a go. It tends towards a bullet-hell, hectic playstyle further in you go of course.

I'll keep this brief as this game is fantastic and does what it aims to very well.

- Fun and relaxed play style unless you try for the highest end-game content
- Perfect for that "end of a work day" game where you want to play but don't want a grind over several hours
- Shooting and gear mechanics are fine, nothing groundbreaking but nothing seems wrong either
- A lot of fun co-op with friends, but solo is also great with some AI support in Bosco
- The community is excellent and if you are solo, you'll easily find groups to play with in game
- A lot of cosmetics and upgrades, all of which are earned in game by playing rather than bought
- No P2W upgrades, you either find it in game or if you do buy a DLC item it is cosmetic only
- Rock and Stone!

I'll keep this short, as a lot of people have played/read about/watched Destiny 2 so the basics are out there.

I played until just before the Forsaken DLC on BattleNet and enjoyed almost all aspects of the game. The gun play is solid, the art and world designs are superb. I lost interest when the end game grind became a chore and rewards outside of raiding were few and far between.

Coming back now, so much has changed and the day-to-day play is much improved. Bounties, Quests and other milestones on top of the usual Weekly or Daily grinds are a welcome change. The end game still gets a little repetitive, but around that are more things to do if you don't care about that last 1% upgrade.

It's expensive, there is a ton of content, and new players will find things a little confusing as the game does not explain much if anything most of the time.

I'd give the F2P a try and go from there. If you enjoy the feel of the game, it only gets more rewarding with the additional content, clan mates and diving right into the world.

An excellent example of a 3D platformer done right, with tight controls and camera work (for the most part). The story is a little shallow, but endearing and enjoyable with enough quirks to keep you engaged and laughing along with it.

Pros
- Beautiful artwork
- Solid gameplay
- Tight Controls
- Intuitive game mechanics
- Measured progression
- Varied game areas with real personality
- Collectables

Cons
- The camera can get stuck on/against objects and walls, although only rarely, making for some annoying jumping visuals.
- A few moments of progression are confusing if you are a 'collectaholic', only telling you that you are missing something, not what it is or where to get it.

Overall the best 3D platformer I've played in years, expect 10-20 hours of gameplay to complete, depending on how dedicated you are to collecting everything.

An excellent puzzle platformer with metroidvania elements, this game is polished and well made. Level designs can be a touch simplistic early on, but the gameplay ramps up nicely as you progress.

Pros
- Beautiful artwork
- Solid gameplay
- Entertaining story
- Intuitive game mechanics
- Large variety of weapons and gadgets
- Four large zones to play in, plus two more story-related areas
- Collectables
- Nice easter eggs scattered throughout

Cons
- A little slow to start
- A couple of rooms are more frustrating to pass, rather than fun to overcome
- The ending seemed very abrupt
- Can't rework the skill tree (afaik)
- Secondary weapons need more attention drawn to them

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this game, expect 12-24 hours of gameplay to complete. I really hope there is a sequel or expansion coming.

A challenging RTS with a twist: all of your units are train cars that are moved around the map via tracks. Unique and enjoyable with a great art style.

I was provided a key from the Developer

I quite enjoyed this game, as a long-time fan of classic RTS titles. It makes for a refreshing change in the genre by taking well known gameplay elements and adding a twist to the movement and management.

Whilst an older game, it holds up well despite a lower resolution than you would expect to see these days (something that I found pleasing in a nostalgic way). The gameplay is solid, each unit is unique and can be utilised to render different attack and defence patterns. Enemy AI is about what you would expect from an RTS, challenging but predictable.

The art style is interesting and for the most part very effective, although in some instances can make elements on screen a little hard to pick out. That being said, it suits the game well and immerses you into unit management nicely.

Well worth a play if you are an RTS fan looking for something a little different in that genre, or just an indie game fan that enjoys a smaller, less frantic game from time to time.

I haven't played a point & click game in years, so I was a little hesitant when I jumped into Gemini Rue. I was worried I wouldn't maintain interest enough to complete it. At the end of my second playthrough, I am pleased to say that my experience was the exact opposite.

The gameplay is fluid and easy to pick up, challenging at times but never frustrating. The artwork is perfect for the setting with a noir feel that helped draw me into the storyline and continue engaging to find out what would happen next.

A must play game for point & click fans, and I recommend giving it a try if you are new to them or returning to the genre.

A quick, fun point-and-click puzzle game with a nice art style. Don't expect much story or dialogue overall, but the atmosphere is consistent and the puzzles are engaging.

Grab this on sale or in a bundle for a good 2-3 hours of gameplay to 100%.
