The game is massive and will take you a LONG time to get used to every mechanic it offers.

If you enjoy space exploration this game is for you. It has good combat/trading/exploration options for varying degress of space enthusiasm. You can lose youself pretty quick or run out of fuel and not know a close space station to dock at. But if you take your time and learn the game, you CAN get your moneys worth. You must be invested, it is not just a sit down and beat it quickly type game. You can spend several hours and not make a dent, or get attacked by space pirates and are forced to take a loan to get a new spaceship to continue your adventures.

The game offers basic to expert level tutorials for all space travellers and video guides to show you how to play (external links to youtube, not ingame videos)

If you think you can handle the extreme, the void and the great beyond... Then get this game and invest some time into it, You (probably) won't regret it if you learn how to use all the games mechanics to your advantages.

I personally spent 2 hours when i started learning the basics of the game through the tutorials (and cursing alot too when the mechanics proved to be difficult to master) and I am now several hours into the game and it is still frustrating, yet the more I play the better I get, and the more fun and further I can travel and explore. I'm still in the learning phase and It is still throwing new mechanics and gameplay at me.

So much to take in and learn when you start playing, but from a review standpoint, $70 is expensive if you don't plan on investing time into learning how to play and getting the most out of your time spent playing. So visit the forums, ask questions and watch the tutorial videos and play the tutorial missions (You will need it and won't regret doing it!)
