tl;dr: "One of the few games worth spending full retail price on." -Me, Nov. 2016. Probably even more so for people who waited for PC release, no DLC to buy because it's all there, and seeing this game in 60 fps, even on low settings is breathtaking! Be aware you need a moderately high end PC to play this game in most of it's glory. 8/10 for a PC port.

Now the tl;dr aside, there's a lot of pros and cons to this game, and even though I loved every minute of it, I will happily give an objective review.

*Combat is no longer psuedo turn-based or otherwise, it's an Active Battle System, meaning more like Kingdom Hearts rather than true Final Fantasy, and while I enjoyed it, I can say that some of us yearn for the turn based combat of yesteryear.

**Mild Spoiler: Once you reach the end of Chapter 8, rather than the game going at YOUR pace, now you're immediately thrust into main plot from here on til the final chapter, where you can go "back in time" to complete sidequests and level. Easily the most annoying thing about the title.

***My PC uses a 4th Gen i5, Nvidia GTX960, 16 GB HyperX FURY DDR3 RAM (2 8GB Stick). It's not the highest end, but it's capable of playing 90% of games from the past 3 years at 60fps, this is the first that gave me any issue. At lowest settings I ran 50-60fps regularly until Ramuh summon, which completely broke framerate down to 18fps permanently until game reset.
