I grew up on chronotrigger and FF6, and this game has been filling me with a lot of joy after an intense block of work.

Been really anticipating this game. Huge fan of Ma.K, 90s anime stuff (one of the soldier types looks like it came straight from Venus Wars), etc. All the aesthetic markers. IMO it gets the "vibe check" on that pretty well, but the game itself is (naturally) buggy for an early release. I'm writing this after getting stuck in a corner while trying to sneak around a mech. The mechanics are a bit unclear, a lot of the interface feels like it could benefit from a dedicated UX research eye, and generally the enemy mechanics seem pretty bizarre.

BUT. Early access. All to be expected. I remain very excited for this game and look forward to supporting it as it develops. The thing I'm most anxious about is that it will just be aesthetic and these more fundamental mechanic\gameplay questions won't get resolved.

Fantastic game, particularly with RSMods for quality of life improvements. Dreading the inevitable forced transfer over to plus tho.

I’ve gotten around 99% in this game on PS4 and love it to death, but it is unplayable on steamdeck.

Unfortunately until the game is fixed or the steam deck verified status is removed, I can’t recommend it.
