Here, the gameplay serves the story rather than the other way around. It's more of an interactive fiction than a traditional game. You’re essentially pointing and clicking your way through to the end.

This isn't a bad game, but it's not a great one either. It had so much potential and started off strong with its super cool art style and animation. However, after a few chapters, you begin to realize that the puzzles are convoluted and not worth the effort of trying to solve them through trial and error. The solutions never feel satisfying.

A good puzzle game should be a combination of a cool art style and well-designed, rewarding puzzles. While this game nails the first part impeccably, it falls flat on the second.

I want 100 more games like Toem. It's so wonderful in its presentation and charming in its execution that I wholeheartedly fell in love with it. People should support games like this, which showcase everything amazing about human creativity. I hope the developers will make another game with a similar theme and art style, because we have too many fully 3D games and not enough with the 2.5D style we see here.

We need more games like this. Art style was beautiful, the puzzles were fun and challenging. Combine all of that with its short run time and you got yourself a great game that I can recommend to anyone.

This is one of the most wholesome and joyful game I have ever played. Everything from the graphics to music to the wonderful character design oozes with charm. The only downside to this game was that it ended too soon. I wanted more out of this world. Hope the dev makes a DLC or another game based on this art style and world.
