I'd like to recommend this one, but I don't feel like it's a decent game right now.

While the developers have been quite engaged in development in the recent time, the core game hasn't really changed up a whole lot, which just so happens to be my main point against this game; It gets repeditive incredibly fast.

While the game offers a good amount of maps, the basic gameplay loop is always the same:

-Check Quests when you arrive,
-Grab equipment
-Find the Ghost Room
-Wait for enough evidence to come by
-Leave

This gameplay loop isn't really mixed up. The developers are trying to hard to make the ghost only identifiable via evidence. Ghosts basically only have minor differences in their behavior, essentially though, they're acting pretty much so indistinguishable from each other, that you can't use behavior to figure out a ghost type most of the time;
So there's a ton of ghosts, but they only differ on paper.

There's also only a single game mode, which is a "Investigation"; identifying the ghost. There aren't any other game modes, the general loop always stays the same as mentioned previously.

Second, this game isn't exactly scary- There's pretty much no tension buildup, the ghost decides if it wants to hunt you based on RNG and a "Sanity" factor, which is esentially a hard-coded method of keeping the ghost from hunting instantly after the round begins. So occasionally you'll get a unexpected jumpscare, but that is about it. After 10 rounds you'll have seen or heared it all.

The game looks pretty good for having been made in Unity Engine, though, you can still see the typical Unity lighting bugs in some areas. There's also a few LOD related unloading bugs and such, but I'm confident that'll get fixed soon enough.

All in all I think that pretty much all the fun in this game rather comes from messing around with friends via the co-op, rather than the game itself. So unless you can talk a few guys into getting this game with you, I really can't recommend it in it's current state.

If you've managed to talk 3 friends into getting this with you, you're gonna have a great time.
Though co-op isn't exactly required to play this, anything above Haz 4 because a little difficult for solo play, or even duos.
Should you be looking for a nice game to chill out in, though, I think this is a pretty good fit.

Despite being made mostly out of randomly generated levels, it takes quite a while for each cave to start looking repeditive. There's a good amount of variety in between biomes, from a barren wasteland with crystals you probably shouldn't hug, up to beautiful night-blue grasslands. The game will usually give you quests in a variety of these- I've rarly had the same biome be repeated over the course of an entire questline.

The gameplay is really strait forward and mostly intuitive; You've got your four classes to pick from, each one fitting into a specific role, but all of them being very open to different playstyles. The classes complement each other, so if you're in 4 player co-op, I can personally recommend getting a different class for every player.

Customisation is varied and quite in-depth. I've never really had an eye for customisation, other than showing off what I had, but if you're into the near-skyrim level of character customisation- well I guess you've got a good pick here, too.

This game also has one of the most detailed and well-crafted lobbies I've ever seen. There's quite a bit to explore and a few minigames, should you be waiting for other players to return/join/etcetera.

For downsides; Some of the missions are quite repeditive and due to the rng-levels, you can sometimes spent hours in a mission trying to find the last 7 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ morkite (speaking from experience...)
There's also several small clipping and texture issues in level geometry in the lobby, but hey, if you don't have an eye for that it wont ever bother you, and this is already a pretty nitpicky point.

Overall, it's a solid game, and even if it's not on sale, it's been worth every cent to me (which goes as far as that I bought this game twice, in fact).

10/10 Must have
