This feels more exploitative than anything. The biggest sign is the completely unsubtle cover photo which is just some random child. Lots of "well meaning" political pieces only exist for their own sake and not to be enjoyable, or even truly uncomfortable. Agreeing with the message of something isn't the end of appreciation. It doesn't woo the user into discomfort or do anything new.

It's free though. So I can't be too harsh. As a fun random project for the creator? This succeeds. As a piece of IF that showcases a knowledge in IF like the RPS review indicates? Eh...
I think the political nature of it is going to make people more critical. If this was about Pineapple on Pizza or Birds wearing hats it would have positive reviews. When discomforting the audience I think more caution needs to be taken - and I don't think exploitation (like Exploitation Films, I don't mean this too harshly) of sensitive topics is a shortcut to well done discomfort. If I could leave a neutral review I would, but I don't think I want to see more games take sensitive topics as a shortcut to quality. I don't think picking cutesy topics is a good shortcut either. I think games like these, and comparing them to other pulp, is a good look into how Steam reviews as a community exist.
I think my actual takeaway from this is actually that I'd like to see something more fleshed out than this from the same creator. Thanks for making this free, I want to check your other games out now.

Horribly optimized. Fun.

Fun little game. Has some jank to it but each puppet has cool abilities, and the stealth, knockdown, and 1v1 capability of the human is tense.I think it's not as human sided as all of the people think - in a game of friends and a competent player, the human usually lost. But it was incredibly close each time.

One of my favorite sandboxes of all time. I can't stress enough how much fun this game is

EA shut down servers, which really only just connected us to third party servers. They won't give CD keys out unless you send them emails.

2-4 hours of a cute, easy souls game with some replayability. Very fun. A bit glitchy.

Nothing new under the sun. Especially when it comes to praising FNV. Play it.

An absolutely wonderful game that should serve as an example for interactive fiction. It removes all of the problems with traditional IF games that keep people away while still creating a very fleshed-out world with decisions to be made, intriguing mysteries, and fun challenges.
