Is it worth the buy?
Depends. If you're in for the journey of pre-release alpha's, absolutely. It's a decent game, and has a tonne of potential, but it has its flaws. Most noticeably the fps. GTX 970 user, game can stutter more than BF4 on ultra. Needless to say the game does look amazing, but it's optimization isn't up to scratch right now. It's an alpha though, what can you expect?

Small bugs such as zooming in at random points, and the generally difficult to use mouse and keyboard controlls aren't too fun either. But for a game released yesterday, it's certainly showing promise. The mouse and keyboard controls can be refined very easily, and the bugs can be patched quickly. Optimization will happen I assume, and well, we havn't got to the positives.

The game has a large amount of exploration to be done. Find civillization, find vechiles, even find bloody flyable dragons.
Attack zombies and skeletons as you ride around the vast world on whatever transport you can think of. Chests can be found which contain weapons and currency, plenty of imaginative biomes can be explored, and everything you can come across you can use to build your own little paradise.

That's just on the 2nd day of release.
TL;DR game has its bugs, some very noticable (stuttering issues on mid-high end systems) but shows alot of promise, and has very imaginative gameplay to make up for it. Think cubeworld meets minecraft. But less RPG, and more exploration... and it'll get updated by a working team.
