For those of you who have not played an Elder Scrolls game, you can still play Skyrim and not completely break the lore. Each game is set in a different time period. You can play them completely out of order and in any way you want. The point behind the Elder Scrolls games is to make them as immersive as possible for the players and Bethesda does just that. Skyrim has beautiful landscapes and scenery, amazing combat sequences only shared by the Fallout series, and lore that generates itself within the game. It is a game that can literally be played forever and never stop. It is absolutely amazing in all its forms. Even with the release of their new game, Elder Scrolls Online (which I am dying to play being a huge fan of the series), I will continue to play skyrim because there is seemingly no end to what you can do with this game.
